Sycharth Castle
A motte and bailey earthwork close to the village of Llangedwyn. Although the first timber castle may have been built before 1100 the site is best known as the impressive home of Owain Glyndŵr built in 1393 and burnt to the ground in 1403 by Prince Henry (later Henry V).
